Part- Four : Setting a platform so that we can understand the verses of Ifk ( slander ) in surah Nur . The Battle of Al - Mustaliq has been singled out as a unique and blessed battle , for shortly after its ending , the entire tribe ( Banu Al- Mustaliq ) entered into the fold of Islam . What prompt them to enter into Islam were the noble and generous actions of the Companions ( may Allaah be pleased with all of them ) . The Companions freed all of their captives , feeling that it was not befitting for them to literally own the in-laws of the Prophet ( may peace and blessings be upon him ) . In response to this collective freeing of slaves and captives and in the atmosphere of forgiveness and kindness that then ensued the entire tribe of Banu Al- Mustaliq entered into the fold of Islam . This historic event can be attributed to the love and respect that the companions ( may Allaah be pleased with all of them ) felt for the Prophet ( may peace and blessings be upon him ) . Our mother Juwarriyyah bint Al- Haarith ( may Allaah be pleased with her ) became the wife of the Prophet ( may peace and blessings be be upon him ) . She entered into Islam wholeheartedly and she became very knowledgeable and an avid worshipper as the the following narration hint to that : One morning , the Prophet ( may peace and blessings be upon him ) left her early in the morning , around the time of fajr prayer . When the Prophet ( may peace and blessing be upon him ) left her ( may Allaah be pleased with her ) she was sitting down in her masjid ( the part of her home where she would perform prayer ) . Later on the Prophet ( may peace and blessings be upon him ) returned , only to find that she was still sitting down all that time , remembering Allaah , praising Allaah , supplicating to Him . The Prophet ( may peace and blessings be upon him ) asked her : Are you still in the same position that you were in when I left you ? She ( may Allaah be pleased with her ) said : Yes . The Prophet ( may peace and blessings be upon him ) wanted to teach her a very special dua and so he said : After I left you I said four words ( meaning phrases ) three times each , If they were to be weighed against everything you said since the beginning of this this day ( in terms of dua ) My phrases would have out-weighed them . The four phases are : How perfect Allaah is and I praise Him by the number of His creation and His pleasure and by the weight of His throne , and the ink of His words . This is recorded in saheeh Muslim . Please bear with me it is because of this battle that ten verses of surah nur were revealed .
