Part 2 - Day 33 - Peeps, I had the most amazing experience last night. I returned to my old and favourite school, St Cecilias, for the first time since its new build. It was amazing. What a fantastic job they have done. Although as I meandered through its halls, with its new fandangled look and feel, I was a wee bit sad not to see the old lockers, staff room, assembly hall, and my most favourite spots, Mrs G McCaffertys English room and the PE changing rooms. The new school is just fantastic and what a warm and cosy ambiance it has about it. A credit to all the teaching staff, and to the pupils, who are jumping out at you everywhere you turn. Oh to be back for just one more week ! Would I do things differently if I was ? Yes, indeed I would. I would be more confident, more daring and more influential with my peers. I would engage more with the younger pupils and strive more to to be the very best I could be. I did work hard at school, dont get me wrong, but I didnt have half the opportunities young people have today. I now sound like my mum. I suppose what Im trying to say is that the skys the limit these days for kids at school and yay for it. Hippy happy day. McCaffs. X
