Part 2: Fellow Equity Members: My friend Jeff Applegate is the smartest, most well-informed person I think I have ever met. His knowledge and grasp of issues combined with his sense of fairness and diplomacy are the perfect combination for a role as an AEA council rep. He was one of my deputies on the Mamma Mia tour and if ever I had an AEA/SETA-related question he patiently responded with a full, detailed, comprehensible answer. But he wasnt too proud to admit if he (rarely) didnt have a complete explanation to my (over the course of 9 months, literally, hundreds of) queries. He would promptly return with a full answer. Such knowledge, humility and dedication are rare. His encyclopaedic counsel, organization, and ability to communicate with eloquence are unrivaled. He is the model of what a representative should be. It would be a very smart idea to strongly consider him for your vote as a council rep. Very smart.
