Part 2 Okay, Since Hunter has a sprain and bruise with possible fracture, I sent a copy of the ER discharge summary to his teacher this morning. I also wrote a pretty lengthy e-mail to his teacher copied to the principal explaining that he didnt get treatment yesterday but he needed to go to the nurse TODAY every 2 hours and have ice on his arm for about 10 - 15 minutes. Hunter comes home and guess what! Again, he didnt get to go to the nurse! He has benchmarks in Reading tomorrow! I talk to someone from the schoolboard office who calls me to say his teacher claims Hunter didnt report an injury yesterday. He is backed up by the principal. I call hunter in and he says yes he told his teacher and it was on his way inside the building after he got hurt! I say ok, what about TODAY, what about the discharge papers and my emails? No one wrote me back and Hunter still didnt get to get ICE!! She said shed get back to me on that. Its been an hour and a half. I still remember when they left him on a field trip in 2nd grade at Gattis and he tried walking back to the school. Geeze.
