Part 2 of my story... 10/31/2014 Adding a bit more to my story on this Friday morning... As I scroll through Facebook feed, I cannot even begin to count the number of post about people being so excited because this is Friday. I tell you, I cannot stress how thankful I am to not have to keep track of my days anymore. It might be Monday, it might be Thursday, shoot it could be the weekend.... I work when I want, from where I want. And by work, I mean I share with people about products that are changing lives. I study our products and our business and comp plan and how we are not your average MLM. When Im hanging out, I listen to team calls and videos. I love this stuff! I eat, sleep and breathe Plexus (and dream about it lol). I really have found my passion in life. Adding to my story, I went to college to become a nurse. After being in the hospital with my dad so much with all of his health issues and almost losing him time after time, I wanted to be a nurse so I could help others and leave and impact on their lives. I hated college. But I couldnt give up that spot, wanting so bad to be able to help others. I dropped out of my Microbiology class right as my 16 page paper was due. I was condemned by it, not by my family, but by those closest to me. I was made to feel like a failure and like I would never get anywhere in life. I appreciate that now though, because my euntrapnuer spirit kicked in stronger than ever. I worked a 8 to 5 J-O-B for over 4 years. That was even more encouraging to go after what I want. Not many knew that I turned down a HUGE job opportunity, that would have paid me 3 times what I made at my previous job, and came with benefits. People thought I was crazy. I knew if if took it I would rely on it and wouldnt give this my all. I would have never dreamed it was Plexus. No college, no bosses, just learning as much as I can and helping to change lives. This has been the most rewarding change in my life I have ever had!!! I thank all of those around me who are supporting me, and I thank those who are still very negative about this and think its a joke, because you drive me to go to the top!!!! Ok, I could go on and on, but deep down I do believe I will be able to pursue my dream of speaking and motivating others. Until then, I will keep pushing forward and thanking God for opening the right doors at the right time.
