Part 32 of Life after Mockingjay Today is Dahlia and Jays birthday..they are turning 4 years old!. Dahlia is down here and Jay is up there. Every year, we release blue balloons up into the sky. Blue was Jays favourite colour. Happy birthday Dahlia Peeta picks her up and spins her around, she giggles When will i be able to go to the meadow and see Aunty prim and Jay They will be waiting for you, but I dont know. Dahlia thinks the meadow is accessible, what she doesnt know is that the meadow is heaven. Here open your present says Peeta detecting the awkwardness of the conversation. Okay She gently unwraps the present wow, daddy, look i can help you now! We got her a baking set, which included a whisk, a rolling pin, a spatula,, a wooden spoon, a variety of different cutters, and a few other little bits. Is it time to go say hi to Jay again mommy Yes sweetie, here you take these balloons I split the balloons in third, so i get a batch of balloons, Peeta gets a batch of balloons and Dahlia gets a bunch of balloons I look forward and see Dahlia looking at the stars Hi, Jay, Mommy and Daddy really miss you. Not as much as i do. I miss having you to play with. But i play with Finley and aunty Johanna little son Percy. We Play hide and seek, i win because of our hiding place. Dont tell mommy or daddy this but, the only reason i eat my broccoli is because it was your favourite....do you remember....how i would give you the remains of my broccoli when mommy and daddys back was turned.... sometimes go to our hiding place and cry because i really miss you then a become strong again like mommy is. But you are in a better place. Mommy has told me so much about the meadow. Aunty Prim lives there, and so does Uncle Finnick . Mommy says that Finnick loves sugarcubes, and Aunty Prim had a cat who she loved dearly. We still have her..hope your having fun up there i miss you Jay, ill send you some cookies up. With chocolate on the top Dahlia then releases her Balloons and waves Me and Peeta go and put our arm around her. That was beautiful what you said..
