Part 4 of 5 of my all-time favourite/most influential songs. For this one, Ill backtrack a bit. Spring of 1970. Just back from living in Trinidad for a few years, my music listening was Beatles, Monkees, Association, Steam (Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye) and the Island sounds of Calypso and Rock Steady (soon to be renamed Reggae, and let loose on the world). On an allowance, my record buying was guided by price as much as sound. While shopping at the downtown Dutch Boy grocery store, with my brother, Ken (with whom I was staying, at that time), I found a two-record set that was $4.99 -- same price as a single album. Hadnt heard, or heard of, the group. I bought mostly for the bargain price. It was Grand Funk: Live:, and was how I discovered I really like LOUD GUITARS. Hello Heavy Metal, goodbye quiet in the house. Heres a song from that album... https://youtube/watch?v=ptKykN1hc6k
