Part-Time JOBS at the Flatbush YMCA JOB TITLE Gymnastics Instructor $20.00 P/H - $30.00 P/H Guitar Instructor $20.00 P/H - $30.00 P/H Soccer Instructor $20.00 P/H - $30.00 P/H The Flatbush YMCA is seeking a qualified individual who will be responsible for providing instructional to youth. The Instructor will also be responsible for providing the curriculum, which includes instruction, guidance and motivation to all class participants in a safe and secure atmosphere and following standards and guidelines established by the YMCA. Responsibilities: Teaching skills with lesson planning and program goals for participants. Ensure that classes are delivered in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Promote and recruit program participants. Maintain accurate program documentation (incident, accident and behavior reports, attendance, orientation and registration). Provide leadership, supervision and guidance. Be knowledgeable in all aspects of the job; keep supervisor, participant and parents informed as to what is happening within the class. Assist in safely setting up, removing and inspecting equipment. Communicate effectively with parents, participants, members and staff. Actively participate in all training sessions, designated meeting and special events. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Previous experience teaching Strong verbal communications skills Current CPR/AED/First Aid/Child Abuse certifications.
