Part of A-Keeps Hwarang expedition is a trip to Gyeongju, specifically the site of Bulguksa, a very scenic temple in this historic area. Here are a few pictures of that area: The second picture is my favorite, popularly known as the 사랑의 나무, or Lovers Tree, two trees entwine as if in embrace, but the last is very interesting as well: dotted about Gyeongju there are burial mounds for Silla Dynasty kings, which are easily visible as you travel the area. Gyeongju is easily one of the most beautiful destinations in South Korea.
