Part of immersing myself in the colon cancer community means I get a huge amount of support. The trade off is that I also witness peoples heart break and feel my own heart break for them. I have been criticized for surrounding myself with tragedy that hits so close to home. To this all I can say is it makes me feel better to try to offer support and comfort to those that truly get it. Right now there is a lot of heart ache to go around. Ive share the incredible writings of the Cocktails and Chemo blog, by Amanda Clark. She wrote last night that Joe only has days left. Im outraged by this honestly, they have so many unfulfilled memories left to create, its just unfair. Theres also Ashley Wagner, whose baby continues to be hospitalized for kidney failure and they are working on the next treatment steps. Please keep these amazing families in your prayers and give your loved ones extra hugs and kisses.
