Part of the Paul Glaeser photo collection recently donated by his nephew John Glaeser. Taken in 1921, and identified by the photographer as being in a field on East Street, we are pretty sure that these photos represent work being done by Nels Nelson at the East Side Garage (owned by him and the McNamara Brothers) located in the rear of 513 East Street. Nels nephew, Allen Nelson, volunteers at the NBIM and helped us today with the identification. Unfortunately he couldnt tell which person in the photo was Uncle Nels.
