Part of the fun of the Chaos Band has always been challenging ourselves to learn something that was basically impossible to do live, and just kind of throw it in there in among a bunch of other things. River Song, Marquee Moon, that random Partridge Family song Derrick Anderson made us do, etc. This was our first performance (I think we only did it three or four times) of a very obscure Elton John single that was as byzantine as it was cool. Rachel Wolfe bailed me out of having to sing it, thankfully, and did her usual amazing job. This song, btw, is worth seeking out even if youre not an Elton fan. Its really weird in a good way.
