Part of the reason of my pain, and negativity, and feelings of being jaded, and like ive been lied to, have stemmed exactly from what this article is talking about. Ive been shit on for liking commercial varieties of this, ive been shit on for being a bro, ive been shit on for using a controller, and Ive been shit on for what I produce. And then people are shocked and alarmed when I lash out in return. I admit that thats exactly what I have been doing when I have been angry towards this and Im really glad this article finally addresses that inherent problem within the culture. Take what you will from it but its an interesting read and you might have experienced something similar. My only remedy for it? Like what I like and keep on keeping on. And yeah Im going to lift, and keep being myself and Im done apologizing for it.
