Part-time Admissions Representative West Med College Key responsibilities include: •Conducting admission interviews to evaluate prospective student’s needs, interests and qualifications while providing clear and concise information to help the prospective student make an informed decision to attend or not attend the school. •Assists in the development of and coordination with outside entities in outreach activities including scheduling, visiting community partners, arranging guest speakers, and developing volunteer opportunities with the goal of increasing community awareness of the College. •Assisting with administrative enrollment processes ensuring the appropriate processing and maintenance of student files/documents, including preparing correspondence answering and routing incoming calls, etc. •Coordinating and implementing career development courses and individual career counseling for current students and alumni; maintains career development website Job Requirements •High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field including: Human behavior, academic counseling, social work, marketing, management, business, or communications. •Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in recruiting, advising and servicing students a diverse population of students in an educational setting. •Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while paying attention to the details; •Excellent oral and written communication skills including interpersonal relations and skilled listening, logical and adept thinking •Ability to interview effectively, problem solving and maintaining professional demeanor, high sense of ethics, ability to take direction well and work as a team player are required. •Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) careerbuilder/jobseeker/applyonline/applybegin.aspx?Job_DID=JHV5X6716CYP5SJR9Z7&sc_cmp1=JS_JDP_ApplyNowTop&IPath=JEHRAXAJ7
