Part2/2 The Buycott app for mobile is a great way to buycott - TopicsExpress

Part2/2 The Buycott app for mobile is a great way to buycott any companies or goods that you dont want to be supporting, which at least helps us on our journey. This is for the people that dont have a clue that they dont have a clue about what is going on. Like I said in part1/2 Buycott helps with this incident and other incidents, but it isnt touching the root cause issue which is the unsustainable monetary economy itself, and the incentive to make things just as they are now, and its destructive use of the resources we need to live and the destruction of the biosphere. Buycott however is a great thing to do now, but it isnt the answer to our root problems. The natural world around us works as one large system of interconnected systems, and we are shutting down this global system by shutting down its interconnected systems one by one, or simultaneusly, as our economy is incompatible with the natural world around us. One analogy for what we are doing to the planet with keeping this incompatible economy in play for now, is that It is a bit like firing people randomly at your place of work and expecting it to still function. Some people and systems will be able to go and it will not have any noticeable effect at least in the short term on your role or the company overall, but you will eventually fire someone or remove a system that brings the whole system down in the very short term. Politics is just trying to keep the current system in play that keep the corporate masters happy, the folks that get the clowns in power in the first place, whom pay for their election campaigns. These clowns are just gambling on everything else, they are not tackling the building risks to our and even their existance. It is also only looking in the short sighted term of usually 4 years, and passing the burden of problems caused by the destruction onto the next government in power, and then they will blame them for the issues that it created. Voting Red or Blue or any other colour you can think of wont change a thing, it wont tackle the root issues. Eventually the house of cards will fall down itself due to the untackled problems effecting their own and our existiance. An analogy of this, is that it is like running an IT system and not making any decisions to fix the root causes of the problems with a growing transaction demand, eventually, you will reach a point there performance sucks so much that the system is unworkable, or you get buried in data which you need to keep, or you dont even know what part of that data you need to keep, with no system in place to deal the mass of data sustainably.
