Partial Bikeway Closure - Kangaroo Point The CBD BUG has been advised by BCC that Kangaroo Point Bikeway - Partial Closure for Lighting Installation Lighting is to be installed along the section of the bikeway from the shared pathway bridge to near the Riverlife Centre Car Park. The work involves trenching across the existing bikeway to install conduits, etc. The work will commence on Monday 03 Feb and take approximately 3 weeks. Work will only occur between 9am to 3pm daily and traffic controllers will be in place at all times. Cyclists and pedestrians may need to be held in place while equipment is moved and work is undertaken across the pathway. Trenches will be filled as the work progresses and covered with bitumen as a temporary measure. Full reinstatement of concrete is planned once the lighting work is completed.
