Parting Shot. We elect our federal office holders including the president to exercise their judgment in the interest of their district or state, but to be bound to the restraints of the US Constitution. Once they get to Washington, a sea change takes place. With rare exception they ignore the constitution and their constituents interest and proceed to join the band of thieves who use their office to feather their nests and reward funnel taxpayer money to those in a position to kick back that largess in the form of bribes, gifts, employment opportunities of relatives and anything else of value.
