Partners and Partners Colombia are hosting a conference in Bogota, Colombia this week: “Relations between Government, Business, and the Community: The Importance of Dialogue in Building Consensus and Preventing Conflict surrounding Extractive Industries in Latin America.” The conference will be implemented in partnership with the Colombian Government’s APC Colombia, and with the support of regional experts from other members of our global network: Centro de Colaboración Cívica (CCC), Transformando Conflictos-Partners El Salvador, Parceiros Brasil - Centro de Processos Colaborativos, Socios Peru, and Fundación Cambio Democrático. The conference is part of Partners’ ongoing regional program, Sustainable Connections for Sustainable Development, funded by the US State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor.
