Parts of Albay province in Bicol may be without power for eight-and-a-half hours on Tuesday, Nov. 11, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said. In an advisory posted on social media on Sunday, the NGCP said the interruption will affect the areas serviced by the Albay Electric Power Corp. (APEC). The NGCP said the power interruption will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. to facilitate maintenance work along Tiwi-Malinao-Tabaco, Daraga-Legaspi and Daraga-Ligao 69-kilovolt transmission lines. It will affect the Washington 20MVA and Bitano 25MVA load end substations, it added. —Joel Locsin/KG, GMA News
