Race will start at exactly 4:00 pm 3. Organizer will not accept entries past 4:00 pm. 4. Registration for each team will now follow the standard individual registration but under each team just like with the other race formats. Rules and Regulations 1. The tournament needs exactly 12 teams and above. Each team must register their exact number of members participating during the event and prior to the start of the race. Each team is only allowed a maximum quota of 60 entries. 2. Teams must provide decals or stickers for their car entries for proper identification. Decals or stickers must be uniform for each team and as much as possible must bear their name. 3. Teams with less than 60 cars may still compete but at their own risk. 4. Teams who plan to compete using two contingents must provide separate names for their two teams. Affixes to their original team name are allowed though numbers and letters are not allowed. Each of their teams must have a different set of stickers. 5. During registration, entries will be classified by teams. A special registration form will be used to monitor the entries of each racer in conjunction with their specific teams . 6. Racers of each team will not compete with their team members. So there are three racers from three different teams who are competing every round. 7. Split off teams may compete against each other if proper pairing is unavoidable. 7. Race rules, regulations, and format will still be followed just like in a regular SRP race and participants are covered by such rules. 8. There is a score board (made out of cartolina or Manila paper) to track down the scores of each team. For this, we require all teams participating to designate one member as their official scorer (similar to a poll watcher) to keep track of the scores for all teams on their own also during the race. Smaller copies of the official score board will be provided to each participating team. 9. Point system per racer/team member. Highest number of points by a single team by the end of the race will be declared as the Champion Team. 10. Scoring System: Points gained by qualified racers are as follows: - Reaching Next Heat: 1 win = 1 point, loss = 0 point - Reaching Quarters: 1 win = 2 points, loss = 0 point - Reaching Semis: 1 win = 3 points, loss = 0 point - Reaching Finals: 1 win = 4 points, loss = 0 point - Championship: 3rd = 6 points, 2nd =8 points, 1st = 10 points 11. Team members who win every heat will continue to the next heat and generate points for the team for each heat that he successfully wins. 12. In case of disqualification at any point of the race (not necessarily quarters inspection), subsequent points will be deducted equal to the number of points gained by that car multiplied by 5. Example if a car that reached quarters was inspected to be at default and was disqualified, that cars team will be deducted with minimum of 5 points per heat attained -5 (2nd Heat), -5 (3rd Heat) -5 (4th Heat), and double that for quarterfinal heat -10 (Quarters) = -25 Points. If the racer himself is disqualified then that racers entire fleet of entered cars up to the current number of cars that successfully reached the highest heat will be considered as deduction at minimum of 5 points per heat per car and double that per quarterfinals per car. 13. In any event of disputes or clarifications, SRP hereby authorized the organizers to be the sole authority on such matters upon consultation with SRP Council and Marshals Committee members. In case of heated disputes, only the team leader is allowed to discuss the issue with the organizer and head marshal. Any acts against sportsmanship by a racer or team will be subject to the disqualification penalty as per above. 14. The Head Marshal will be formally declared before the start of Colossal Team Battle 1. 15. The Head Marshal’s decision will always be considered final, executory and not subject to dispute unless with probable reason. Tracks Design 1. Colossal Team Battle will use a 2 Identical Track System. 2. Official track design will be randomly selected on the morning of the event and in front of suitable witnesses. 3. Only participating teams or those who posted interest and commitment in joining Colossal Team Battle are allowed to post their official track layout in this thread. A team may only submit one official track design. If the team is merged with another bigger team then they can only submit one track layout. 4. Track design’s dimension must only be a maximum of 5 panels x 12 panels due to space restriction. 5. Track design is still subject to approval of the Marshals’ Committee. 6. Deadline for submission of track design is on November 27, 2014) 6:00 pm. 6. Submitted track design must not violate any of the provisions as stated above otherwise it will be disqualified. Track design proponent team may still submit another layout.
