Passed a bill Ive been working in the House tonight. I wrote HR 4984 to help students borrowing money better understand financial aid. My bill provides individualized counseling for people who borrow money to go to school. It passed 405-11. I think students equipped with better financial info will avoid some of the long term debt issues that many face. This is part of a series of bills we need to pass to reauthorize the Higher Education Act.
