Passing this on. Please share. If someone could foster for me, that would work too. Harley is a 3-year-old female Great Pyrenees mix (possibly Pyr/Malamute?). She weighs 70 lbs, but should weigh 80+ when in good condition. She is intact, HW(-) and started on her initial vaccinations. (She will be spayed and microchipped before leaving.) Harley was found as a stray in a nearby county that does not have an adoption facility, and was transferred to us this week. She was covered in burrs and mats, and very underweight. Despite her condition when she came to us, she is very sweet and tolerant. She sat calmly while she was brushed, clipped and bathed, and now shes on her way to looking like a gorgeous lady! Shes a bit shy, but shell happily run with you out in our fenced-in field and come back when shes called, and shes quickly learning good leash manners. Shes a bit submissive, and likes to get her belly rubbed and ears scratched. Harley was found running loose with another dog, and seems to get along fine with dogs of all sizes.
