Passion For Souls International Outreach. RENEW YOUR STRENGTH....WAITING ON THE LORD.... MESSAGE BY EVANGELIST CHUKWUEMEKA S EZEH ....Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. ............ Isa.40:28-31 Receiving the word and the promises of God is actually a lesser task than waiting for the manifestation of them. The challenging thing about God’s words, promises and visions is we have to wait on them. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habk. 2:3 David was anointed to be king at 16 in his father’s house, his coronation never took place until he was thirty (30). It must have taken Job more than mere determination to wait out his trouble. If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come...... Job 14:14 These great men knew that God’s promises, manifestations and visions are worth waiting for. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. Lam. 3:26 Beloved, are there promises, manifestations and words you are waiting for in your life and it looks like it is taking forever? Yes, I know. Sometimes it could be heart weakening especially when you suddenly find yourself under pressure to perform in a fast paced world and facing reproaches around you. You will probably wonder what does it take to wait for God. Why should I wait for long? How did Abraham, David, Job and others do it? Beloved the answer is in WAITING ON HIM. We wait on Him so that we can wait for Him. We wait on Him to receive strength in our heart in order to wait for the manifestation of His promises. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD..... Psa. 27:14 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. Psa. 73:26 We wait on Him by staying in His presence to worship and adore and then we are equipped with strength in our hearts to wait for Him. Beloved, You can never overvalue the excellence of the character and patience you develop in the process of waiting on the Lord. You will be perfect and entire wanting nothing. (James 1:4) May you receive grace to continue to wait on the Lord in Jesus Name.
