Pastor Jeff had a word for the house today that almost made me weep. It was so simple, but if it didnt need to be said, he wouldnt have said it. Stop worrying about what people think about you and know what God thinks about you. We cant try to please man and God. We need to take our focus off of people and put it on the Lord. He wants to much to show His love to us but we seem to care way more about the approval of people around us than we do about pleasing God. That was a breakthrough word and I just sat in the pew and prayed under my breath that we would let that word settle in our hearts continually. I prayed that we would come closer to the glorious presence of God....and pastor called us all to the altar to press in to the presence of the Lord and leave our junk there on our way back to our seats. That was a confirming moment for me. We need Him now more than ever before!
