Pastor Matt gave a great message yesterday, painting the picture of Gods love for us and how its the key to growth and transformation. Below are a few notes from that message. God has already given you the most (His son) wont he give you everything else you need to win the race? * God is against sin, but He is FOR YOU and he declared it in Christ Jesus! * It is God who justifies! * No charge from the past, present or nothing from the future will ever stick against you because what God has already done for you. Its mind blowing, but its something we must absorb deep down in our spirit. * We cannot work and perform to please God…it leads to despair and we will want to give up. It also leads us to judgmental attitude---we will end up comparing our life to others. * God is for me on my worst day…..NOTHING can separate me from His love. Not trouble or hardship, nakedness or the sword. No circumstance in life should ever lead us to think God is against us. Gods chosen people have always had to go through hardship, but it doesnt mean God has left us. Dont let it discourage you…..God will give you the strength to face and conquer. God the Father is always there! * Families are more healthily when we accept Gods unconditional love for us. * The key to growth and transformation is to grasp how wide and how deep the Fathers love for us is and to experience it!
