Pastor Phils insight: Galatians 3:3--How foolish can you be? After starting your new lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort? Grace. It might be amazing, but it sure is hard to grasp! GRACE--Gods riches at Christs expense. God declaring us right because of His Sons sacrifice. God accepting us as if we hadnt sinned because of our faith in Christ. Grace is a gift. The Galatian church didnt quite get it. They accepted the gift but then resorted back to thinking they had to earn Gods favor...or somehow purchase the gift. We do the same. Salvation is a gift from start to finish. Theres nothing we can do to add on to what Christ has already done. When Christ said, IT IS FINISHED he meant it. All our attempts at self-salvation can cease (they didnt work anyways). Amazing grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me (and you). Relax, all ex-wretches. You/me/we are saved!!! #CRDigDeep #WretchNoMore
