Pastor Rodney Spencer preached today when people talk behind your back they dont have the audacity to say it to your face. You cant believe what they say 100% of the time. You have to be very careful about what they say. The enemy likes to come and destroy our character. You have to know your Word and who and what you are. You come home from work and you dont do nothing and people tear down our character. If you correct them about what they say they wont come to you anymore. They will go on the bandwagon and they will go to those who are weak and those who engage in their gossip. They call Him a vapor. They called him an Anti Christ. They called Him a false prophet. They called Him a serpent. They called Him a glutton and a wine bibber. You have to tell folk I am not who I am anymore. People know whats on Lets Make A Deal. People know whats on the Guiding Light. People know whats on Dr.Phil. People know what the season premiere of a TV show. But they dont know the word of God. The American Medical Association will reject God because God heals the sick. OSHA will reject God because He let Peter walk on the sea. The American Psychiatric Association will reject God because He heals the afflicted and cures those of depression. People say you are a phony. People say that youre a fake. I am going to denounce idols. I am going to denounce Buddha. People gossip and say you know about so and so. And we dont know who so and so is. In Matthew we say we knew what they said. Mark is a man of action. Matthew gives us a viewpoint of who Jesus is. People destroy our character. Sister Lulu said she is nothing like that. We bring on the gossip about what they say. We have to be very careful about what they say. If somebody says something about us we need to confront them. Some people say they say. And cant say exactly who it is. People gossip about us and damage our character. The devil is out there. And he will destroy us when we least expect it.
