Pastor Thula Nkosi wrote earlier I quote There is a myth that runs through conversations about Orange Grove and Alberton. It is the assumption that these entities are equal in stature and that they belong to the same Union. They are not on the same organisational platform. The TOC was established in a duly called session in Kwa-Thema on March 20, 1980. I was there. The participating organisations were the Union and Division. The TOC has a Constitution that links it with higher organisations. It submits reports to the SAU as well as policy determined funds. Its officers are members of the SAU Excom. It draws itsv itinerary within that of the SAU. It is audited by the G C. Surely we are not talking About similar structures. The TOC was organised. It did not organise itself. It establishes itsv churches, born of evangelism not co-option. Its pastors are ordained with SAU approval. The TOC is like other Conferences in the SAU and like no other organisation. The TOC is a continuation of the Trans-Oranje Field. Ps Thami Danxa responded Prof, this is clearly high level for many! We have just concluded an SAU Excom, in attendance were two SID Officers in accordance with what you are articulating above. But is it fair to expect those at that place to understand this? I wish many can avail themselves to your policy literacy sessions, they will stop to glorify and espouse policy illiteracy! Got me thinking...
