Pastors Pulpit Section: Matthew 7:1-4“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. Mali ba magjudge? Ito ang isang salita na di basta basta sinasabi o ginagawa ng isang Christian. Pero tignan natin kung ano talaga sinasabi ng Banal na Kasulatan with regards of judging others. - Generally, What is judgment? Lets define it? - JUDGEMENT is, as follows: 1. One who makes estimates as to worth, quality, or fitness 2. To form an opinion or evaluation. 3. To have as an opinion or assumption; suppose 4. Or, as for others, IT is just like giving an admonish, advises, counsel, etc... - Sa Bible, tignan natin ang panig nito sa judging or judging others -Sa verse 1 PARANG SINABI NA BAWAL TALAGA Do not judge, or you too will be judged.-But sa verse 2-5 ay naging detalye ang tungkol sa judging others na makikita dito sa mga talata na hindi masama ang humatol KUNG WALA NG PUWING SA SARILI MONG MGA MATA. This means of present sin and it is so unlawful na mag judge sa iba if merong kasalanan na di pa naipapahayag sa Dios (I John 1:9). - So, this means na ang paghatol sa kapwa ay marapat lamang pero dapat tignan muna ang sarili bago humatol. This means that we need to ask forgiveness so that when we judge with others it would be righteous and acceptable. - Kailan ba nagiging hypocrite ang paghatol sa kapwa? Well, kapag merong present sin or unrepented sin yet -- Anu anu ang mga maling pananaw sa judging others? Una, kung tayo ay itinutuwid ng isang tao o sinumang nasa paligid natin (e.g family member, bf, wife or husband, friend, kaanak etc...) hindi natin marapat na sinasabi abruptly like: bakit kaw ba hindi nagkakasala? The point is not nagkakasala the mere fact na lahat tayo nagkakasala, but the point is if ang taong nagja-judge ay meron o walang present sin or unrepented sin yet. - Kasi madaming mga tao or nasa Christendom na nagiging lisensya ang mga natapus na issue sa isang taong nagtutuwid o ibinibigay ang open rebuke o pagtutuwid, like: Akala mo naman kung sino kang banal o matuwid... Hindi ganito ang design ng God with regards of Judging. -Remember, it is not wrong to judge unless we first take the plank out of your (our) own eye, and then you (we) will see clearly to remove the speck from your (our) brother’s eye. MALIWANAG PO, na okay ang magjudge (it means of tulungan ang isang kapatid na tanggalin ang puwing sa mata niya or kasalanan niya sa Dios at maging sa kapwa tao) because we have already taken out our own plank sa mata or because we have already repented about our sins to God. - Do not judge if you know may present sin po.- Judge others (in other words, advice, help, counsel etc...) because we have already taken out our sins. - So, rightful ba humatol, yes but not in the same sense....... or it depends ....
