Pastors; for those that look at them as merely an employee of the Church, consider what the Word of God says....Ephesians 4: 11-12 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. A Pastor is a GIFT to the Church....and for a purpose.....For the perfecting (maturing) of the Saints, for the Work of the Ministry, and for the edifying (building up) of the Body of Christ! In order to do that, he must instruct you in things that are easy and joyful to hear, as well as things that are sometimes hard to hear, and yes, we may even disagree with sometimes. However, remember, you may turn your back on him, but He will always love you and be there for you. But, through it all, it was Gods plan for all of us to have a Pastor, and if you are not in good fellowship with your Pastor, you are ultimately not in good fellowship with God. He is a God of order, because He loves you. I thank God for my Pastor, and I hope you do as well. God Bless!
