Pat Freund, although our interactions were limited, it is difficult not to reflect on the effect you had on so many lives, including my own. You have achieved so much more in your short life that most people could not even begin to conceptualize in a lifetime. Although I didnt have the honor of calling you a close friend of mine, I most certainly have the honor of knowing who you were and what you stood for. You were strong when you were supposed to be weak. You were modest when you were supposed to be pitied. But most of all, you were the hero that everyone needed whether they knew it or not. You were a shining example of what this world needs: love and positivity, even when hope fades to black. Your memory will serve as an inspiration to your friends, family, and the world foever. Rest in peace my friend, and enjoy eternal bliss.
