Pat, I hope you dont mind me putting a little personal post on this site. We visited Salt Lake yesterday and last night, it was crazy. There was a major bicycle race, The Tour of Utah taking place as well as the Salt Lake fair, what a time for Paul McCartney to be in town for a live performance. We were there to see McCartney, our second time in four years. We learned the last time you come early and get your car parked or you park in the next county and take a cab back to the arena. As I walked around the arena grounds I noticed a fleet of trucks parked in back, these twelve trucks are the ones that haul the equipment for the McCartney concerts. One of the local rock stations was broadcasting from the site so Carolyn and Stef claimed a spot next to the radio truck and had a seat. I was taking a picture of the two of them with the entrance in the background, and a nice lady approached and asked if I would like to ruin the picture by being in it, and I said why sure, thank you mamm. The last time we saw McCartney it was outdoors and was great, but very hot. This one was inside, cooler, but 20,000 people all trying to get through the gates was bad, trying to get out at the end was worse. Also the building was built for basketball games, the music was echo y and ricocheted from wall to wall, the outdoor setting was better. If its okay I plan to post one short video of the concert later, I have to try and compress it so it will load better. By the way, the two stonefaced guys are John Stockton and Karl Malone, they were responsible for that arena being built.
