Pat and I are home from the bone specialty clinic with her new cast. She did have a broken hand from her fall on 9/10/14, one day after her birthday. She is spending the morning attempting to not move forward and asking for a re-do of previous years as this one is not been very spectacular thus far. I do not understand, one major fall in the bathroom three trips to the doctor, one trip to the ER, two CT scans of her head and neck, two x-rays of her left hand, one x-ray of her right hand, one temporary splint and now a cast on her left hand, two really black eyes that are beginning to turn a lovely shade of yellow/green, a knot on forehead that is various shades of blue/green/yellow/and purple and large enough that her hair does not hide it very much, and pills that would make any 60s hippy envious. What more could a person want from the first nine days of this new year of life?
