Pat and I have been picking books together to read. So far, its been two Dick Francis books. Francis was a jockey in England who became a writer and apparently, in all of his stories, there is some type of horse connection. In Banker, I learned a whole lot about horses that I didnt know...particularly how the whole stud horse industry used to work. I think modern technology (20-30 years from the time of his writings) may have changed a number of things now, what with AI and all. Interesting books weve chosen thus far. Really enjoying the second one...will probably finish it at lunch tomorrow.
