Pathetic Pacelle PR Panic Has HSUS Meat Head with Hoofin Mouth - Do I say I told you so? Not yet. So, finally vegans and animal advocates are waking up and standing up to this depraved, despicable, deceptive animal-protection charity comprised of butchers and animal-betrayal specialists. The fear of lost vegan revenue caused by the Hoofin It debacle has forced its sleazy front man center stage to defend the indefensible, at which he has had much practice over the years. So, Waynes Blog of Aug 20th bears the headline Fighting Factory Farming - With Every Tool We Have. Is Wayne telling us that HSUS is just a bunch of tools - as many have long suspected? No, Wayne is telling us that his best tool is a knife, and that tool is best used on behalf of animals by slitting their throats, cutting them into little pieces, and respectfully (paired with a local beer or cocktail, of course) slicing them into 4-nights worth of Hoofin It dinners. Which tool came up with such a cutesy respectful idea like killing a bunch of animals because they all have hooves, and then since hoofin it is an expression that means walking around - a march of walking HSUS graveyards to Denver neighborhood rrstaurants becomes the best fun way to end factory farms (paired with a local beer or cocktail). Pacelle takes his time apologizing for Hoofin It in this apology blog (or is it?) - hoping that you might forget the subject. Yes Wayne, we all know that billions of animals are killed for food (and we were wondering why you wanted to add a few more to that number in Denver), and yes, Wayne, lots of wasted grain, fuel, water, yes, climate change, we know. Would you please get to the point? Wait a second Wayne. Now youre telling us the point is we waste a billion animal bodies each year throwing 22% of all meat into the trash, and you are now suggesting - although it has nothing to do with Hoofin It - but you are suggesting an animal advocacy strategy of consuming more of who is on your plate, and actually eating more meat? Well Wayne, why didnt you scoop out some of those billion bodies out of the dumpster to serve at Hoofin It? (Oh right, it may not be possible to determine if unidentifiable meat from dumpsters came from animals with hooves.) How about a rant now on how bad factory farms are, Wayne - blah, blah, blah - are you ever going to mention Hoofin It? Isnt that why were here? Could you please get to a point, some point, any point? And then Wayne says...I can say much more about the ills of factory farming... ZZZZZZZ ...but Ill get to the point of todays blog (hallelujah!) - which is to ask for your understanding and for your help... (well, sure Wayne, what do you need - a good hoof recipe for leftovers in Denver so you dont add to the 22% waste?) ... ...sorry Wayne - now four more paragraphs of empty boasting about HSUS...really taxing my understanding...I understand -you dont expect people to read this far down, right? Youre hoping everyone gives up before getting to the point of todays blog...and then, without further delay, after further delay, the Chief Executing Officer of the Humane Society of the US says (with my parenthetical comments): ... we do take a different type of pushback very seriously – from stalwart animal advocates who share our commitment to animals, but disagree with an occasional tactic of ours. (Murdering animals is an occasional tactic?) ...We respect their views (not) and want to address their concerns.(but cant)... Through our HSUS Colorado Agriculture Council – which consists of farmers and ranchers who are HSUS members (animal murderers) – we sponsored an event in Denver where several restaurants touted the fact that they are offering more humanely and sustainably raised animals products and abstaining from offering factory-farmed meats. We heard from more than a small number of supporters that the event – and our sponsorship – made them queasy.(HSUS should make any animal advocate queasy.) Indeed, I think they are right that the very name – Hoofin’ It – sounded disrespectful to the animals, and that alone raised alarm bells with caring people. (Next time, well call it HSUS Slaughter-Fest)...We get that not everyone is going to be comfortable with all of our approaches (especially the animals being approached with knives) to fighting factory farming, and we’ll be mindful of getting involved with events that drive our end goals of reducing suffering (ooops, another BIG lie!!!)) and driving consumers to make more conscious eating choices. But we are asking everybody to stretch –corporations, consumers, lawmakers, farmers, and even our supporters and colleagues within the animal protection movement. (THANKS FOR ASKING, ANIMAL KILLER - BUT THE ANSWER IS NO STRETCH HERE!!!)...The kind of change we are seeking won’t happen overnight, and it won’t happen if we all head down the same path. (No problem, animal killer - we are not on the same path. Wash the blood off yours.)... If we want solutions in a pluralistic society, we need pluralism when it comes to tactics. (Murder is pluralism to HSUS!)...We are investing in and promoting plant-based foods so that people have good vegan and vegetarian choices (so you want a revenue stream from vegan food investments as well as blood food, smart business decision, animal killer man)...in the marketplace to reduce or replace their meat consumption, (there were plenty of vegan foods in the market before your blood-soaked investments) and we also want real (dead)options supplied by real (animal rapist and murderer) farmers for people who eat meat and want products that don’t come from abusive factory farms. (only the abusive farms in which you have a financial stake)... Our policy, our strategy and our program commitments make it clear that we’re serious (psychopaths) about this approach. What you get with The HSUS is a group (of sadistic rancher advocates) that will be fearless (brainless and heartless) in taking on the big fights.(Were not afraid of a baby cow. we have knives.) We are going to aim big (we have a big payroll), and we are going to tip over some tables (as you can tell from this blog and the number of drinks I needed to write it) and challenge some orthodoxies in doing so. (like every belief a true animal advocate would have) - In the end, we ask everyone who cares about animals to do their part (and revolt against HSUS). Everyone has a role to play and is part of this cause – vegans and vegetarians, farmers and cowboys, chefs and conservationists, omnivores and inveterate carnivores. (Am I still saying all of this with a straight face? Paul, is everyone rolling their eyes? ) We ask for your tolerance of these diverse approaches, (uh, are you out of your mind, Pacelle?) and we ask for your participation in this critical fight against factory farming, with so much at stake for animals and the whole of society. Yes, Wayne Pacelle has lost his mind. Because of him, many animals will lose their lives. He asks that if you really want to help animals, finish the meat on your plate, and donate your sharpened knives to H$U$.
