Pathological liar scheme: false participation This usually - TopicsExpress

Pathological liar scheme: false participation This usually occurs when and if the pathological liar is caught by their audience. The pathological liar if exposed as a liar, will often claim they are playing a game of some kind, and portray their target/victim as either a current or past participant in the game they then claim to be playing. This could be any fictitious claim at all. Some common examples are if the pathological liar is caught, they may invent some fictitious claim of their target/victim being a member of a fraternity and it being their initiation or their hazing. It could be claims of their pathological lying being part of a social game being played, and claims of their target/victim having fallen out with others playing the game. In every case the claims of participation are merely one of the lies in a pattern of a lies told by the pathological liar.
