Patient Retention : Developing Patient retention strategies is essential for successful completion of clinical trial after the strategy has been approved by Ethics Committe. There are several barriers for a patient to enter and complete the trial such as educational, physical, emotional hindrance and study staff must provide a way to overcome these barriers. This can be managed partially by providing high standard of patient care, education material about the trial, transportation assistance or milestone completion therapeutic gifts such as a diabetic cookbook. Study coordinator can play a vital role in patient retention by maintaining good communication with the patient and providing them a comfortable zone.
