Position Overview The Patient Experience Coordinator/Patient Scheduler communicates directly with patients to maximize the efficiency of the appointment scheduling, travel, and accommodations process. Makes informed decisions in meeting with patients individual healthcare needs, while arranging necessary travel to the facility and lodging during the patients stay. Gives extraordinary attention to detail in order to meet HIPPA standards while facilitating the overall CTCA patient-centric care model. Provides exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, doctors, case managers, clinical service departments, transportation, travel providers, and external accommodation providers. Works to resolve concerns and coordinate patient experience to ensure the Mother Standard of patient care and comfort. Key Position Qualifications Shift is 10:30am to 7 pm - Monday through Friday Flexibility in schedule needed HS graduate or equivalent required 2-3 years hospital/medical experience Computer/data entry experience Medical records or insurance verification background preferred Customer service background strongly preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Software-based scheduling experience strongly preferred Travel or hotel based software a plus The Best Place to Work We call ourselves Stakeholders because we all have a stake in the care and success of every patient.
