Patient Success Story with Chiropractic Care: Dr. Misty Browning has been my Chiropractor for over 3 years. She was highly recommended to me by a fellow Chiropractor from Decatur. I am a Flight Attendant for a major US carrier and hold duties that require a lot of stress and strain on my body. Dr. Misty from the start asked questions about my career and lifestyle which meant a lot to me because I knew she cared about me and my well being. Every appointment I have had with her has been a wonderful and learning experience. Not only do I feel better with her care I feel better knowing that she has my back! No pun intended. What I mean is that she truly helps in a physical way but also helps in a mental way in teaching me about my health and how to use it in everyday life. I have also been active and have had injuries due to some of those activities, but I never knew how they would affect me later in life... Especially with my career of choice. But Dr. Misty went further on investigating my past beyond my adolescent activities to find that my neck and back pain was not only from racing bikes, golf, tennis, etc. It also stemmed from my birth. Several past Chiropractors including medical doctors always initially asked if I had been in a car accident as a child. I had never been. Not one of them, 4 to be exact, ever questioned it again. But, Dr. Misty did. After researching my background she asked if I was a forceps baby. I wasnt sure so I asked my mother and not only was I a forceps baby my mother told me that there were major difficulties with the birth and that the birth doctor and nurses held me from my mother because they thought major damage had been done to my head and neck. So many unanswered questions with one too many doctors until I met a wonderful, caring, and persistent Dr. named Dr. Misty Browning. I live in Decatur and work out of New York, but even if I lived overseas I would fly anywhere for her care. She has made my pain less painful and my awareness for a healthier life priceless.
