Patients of the VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Goshen gathered Monday night to voice critiques about their medical care in the wake of last spring’s nationwide V.A. hospital controversy. The VA Northern Indiana Health Care System had begun conducting the “Listening Post” meetings before the controversy broke, and have expedited the process in the wake of the findings in other hospitals. “I believe that we want to be a little better about what we want to do tomorrow, we want to improve to get better,” said Denise Deitzen, Director of the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System. “They way to do that is hear about whats really important to your customers.”
