Patricia McMillian Well its been a rough week for my little guy. At 5 almost 6,he is now sneaking food. All of it junk/snackfood. School has been a nightmare-expelled last week-hit the Principal in the face with a full box of kleenex while throwing a fit. Today was totally terrible-hitting/kicking hurting staff...I tried since before end of school last year to have systems in place (IEP,etc) but got shut down at both the school and District levels. Now we have to deal with his out of control behaviors as he has been shuffled around,sent home more days than hes been in school.....ARRGH! I had to pick him up today as he hurt another staff member,was destructive & defiant and refused to comply with repeated requests to settle down. I realize this is an adjustment for him, but I am sooo tired of this. He knows better and is acting out to see what the limts TRULY are in school,but I have had my fill. He acts out worse at home now,even though rules and boundaries have not changed. Just venting. I know this too shall pass,but it cant pass quickly enough for me this round.....
