Patricias husband took a few sample shields and liners to Thailand recently. Their Southeast Asia Childrens Foundation works with women and children in many different educational and care facilities, some of which have highly skilled sewing centers. Their hope was that the women could make kits and earn a little money and to also fill the need for feminine hygiene products. Patricia wrote, Im happy to tell you that they liked the idea and adopted it into their newly developed strategic plan to serve the marginalized women in the remote villages where they work. Another village not only has access to feminine hygiene projects, but they are earning money to sustain their village. Reversing the poverty cycle. Thank you, Patricia!
