Patrick Foster and I want to announce our amazing news. Due to complications that can occur with triplets, our 27 weekers were born Sunday 3/30. Liam @ 12:31 pm (natural, unmedicated birth), Carrigan @ 12:37pm (csection) and Gray @ 12:38pm (csection). Liam is 2lb 5 oz Carrigan is 2 lb 4.5 oz Gray is 1 lb 10 oz. L & C are intubated but might be on CPAP machines by morning. Gray is already on CPAP. Go Gray!!! They are fighting hard so we havent been able to hold them yet to avoid stressing them out. Hopefully Kangaroo care (skin on skin contact) starts tomorrow. They will be tube fed for awhile. Long way to go until they can have bottles. We just love them immensely and they are so beautiful. See pics below. They will be in NICU until close to their natural due date which is end of June. If you would like to visit them please text me so we can work it out. Only 2-3 visitors at once, must be healthy and not around anyone sick at home or work. The babies have no immunities right now and are very susceptible. We ask that you use your best judgment to not put any NICU babies at risk. Please note that they cant be held by others for quite awhile but you can see them. We are blessed with so many wonderful people that have cheered us on for almost 5 years to get our babies. There are no words to express our gratitude but thank you. Liam, Carrigan and Gray.
