Patriots coach Bill Belichick sought to end questions of whether his team cheated in their semifinal game with a press conference on Saturday, where he said science explained why most of their balls were deflated. But Bill Nye the Science Guy has come out to strike down Belichicks theory that a sudden change in temperature deflated most of their game balls - allegedly giving Tom Brady and the rest of the Patriots offense an unfair advantage. What he said didnt make any sense, Nye, who used to host a popular science kids show, explained on Good Morning America.Rubbing the football, I dont think you can change the pressure, Nye said, adding that to really change the pressure you would need to use an inflation needle. However, it should be noted that Nyes scientific analysis may be a bit biased. He admitted to being a fan of the Patriots upcoming Super Bowl competition. I can not help but say Go Seahawks! Nye said.
