Pats Weekly Diary - August 11, 2014 Friday night we played in the Downtown Hilton Riverside for Sysco Foods. Weve been playing this party for many years now. I was reminded... we played for Sysco in one of the casinos on the Gulf Coast on the Friday night before Katrina. Needless to say that casino is gone. Any way the party on Friday was a fantastic gig. Once again right by the Mighty... Muddy... Miss... alright... alright... enough with that!!!! Stop please!!! We couldnt see the river from where we were anyway. Saturday night was in Ormond for an open dance at the Jerusalem Shriners Hall. This another party we play every year for many years. And this year was another great turnout. And thats it. Were off now... really off for our Summer vacation. Were off the grid. Well retire to our separate corners and come out fighting in a week. As we get ready for the Fall Fair season, Christmas season... football season!!! Its the busy time of year. We hope to you at Legends on the 22nd. Let me take this opportunity, speaking on behalf of Buzzy, David and Robert to thank you all for the support you given us over the past weeks... months... years. I realize I say this regularly but... We are so blessed to be able to stay so close to home and make a living playing music. And we have you guys to thank for that privilege. So thanks! See you soon!
