Pattern: McCalls 6956 (view B *with added straps) Fabric: Black Poplin and Alexander Henry’s Skulls & Roses Black - cotton (top & dress trim) Lining: Black Poplin (only for the top). The pattern also mentions to line the dress’s trim but I skipped it after it felt too stiff. Alterations: I cut the straps wider and the neckline straight instead of the sweet heart shape to have a more “casual” look for the dress. Skipped the boning as well and felt it wasn’t necessary and also because my ribs are hyper sensitive. Bodice was shortened by ½” (apparently I am short in more ways than I thought…) Struggles/Problems: None Difficulty: Easy Rating: 5 stars This dress came out super cute! I looooooove it! Even hubby praised it! Favorite one so far :)
