Patty Kivlen Duckrey Nicholas Kristoff is my favorite journalist. He writes from a place of knowing, from living amongst the war-torn, the poverty-stricken, the lost, forgotten, the throw-aways, the damaged...he sees and feels their humanity, he weeps with them and makes you feel their pain, he rejoices with them and you feel their joy.
