Patty Wildermuth missed Home Instead Senior Care - Dover, Delaware. The feeling was mutual. Home Instead Senior Care missed Patty, said Recruitment and Retention Director Julie Boone, who echoed the sentiments of the office staff who saw Patty’s compassionate work for about a year’s time that spanned 2011 and 2012. “Patty was working part time as a CAREGiver for us and left to concentrate on a full-time job. It got to be a situation where she couldn’t be in two places at the same time as much as we would have liked,” Julie said. “But I think Patty could not stay away from Home Instead Senior Care, and she was welcomed back.” Nearly three months after Patty’s return July 29, 2014, she was honored as CAREGiver of the Month for November. “Since the day of her return,” Julie said, “Patty has been in high demand from our clients. Even when Patty takes fill-in shifts, the clients ask if she can return as their CAREGiver. Patty has a very packed schedule, and she will squeeze in time for a fill-in if we ask. I don’t believe Patty has ever called off a shift, and she even worked for 12 hours on Christmas Day. She obviously is one of our best.”
