Paul Davis 4 hrs · Yesterday a great man Lari Goss had his home going celebration at Brentwood Baptist Church. No matter what style or type of music you worship with on a weekly basis I can promise you this man has had an impact and touch on your worship. I am watching this Celebration of Life for the 4th time. John David is listening along with me as he works on TV Production room repairs. I have never seen so many song writers, arrangers, singers, and producers gathered in one place at one time worshiping together. No time to argue about style, no time to seek who gets credit. Just all out worship and remembering a great giant in our music industry. Take some time and watch this. You may want to divided it up into sections but you will be blessed. Where else will you hear a choir led by Carol Cymbala of the The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir with singers like Russell Mauldin, Geron Davis, Reggie & Ladye Love Smith, Craig Adams, Luke Gambill, Travis Cottrell, Cliff Duren, Steven V. Taylor, and many others who have so blessed and influence my ministry. Then you also can hear a quartet made of Gerald Wolfe, Ernie Haase, Scott Fowler, and Mark Trammell. The Martins, TaRanda Greene, Nashville String Machine and many many more add so much to this blessed home going celebrations. The amazing words of comfort, hope and love from Pastor Stan Mitchell and Pastor Jim Cymbala. Give this a listen and be blessed. vimeo/116890059 The Nashville String Machine will probably not play at my celebration of life, John Jennings & Bradley Knight will probably not attend, Jim Cymbala will probably not speak at mine but I hope when I come to my lifes final day that I will have been faithful to the end and will have touched just a few as Lari Goss touched millions. — with John David Ainsworth at Northcrest Baptist.
