Paul Harver was one of the most PROFOUND speakers of our lifetime. Other than having a voice that was more recognized than Mike Rowe or Sam Elliott, he was a someone that could captivate an audience from the first word he spoke. In this video you hear him talk about the Law Enforcement Officer and what his job really consists of. I share this video not because I now have a LEO in my family, but because if just ONE person can listen to this and understand what they go through, maybe, just maybe they can use their influence in one way or another to get other people to not just respect, but to understand what LE is really about. Yes, I know there are some that use the badge in ways that civilians would be thrown in jail for. But, please dont judge they all by the few who abuse their power. But, please understand what they face on a daily basis, but the majority DONT abuse that power, but use it to genuinely keep us safe. I dont usually get so wound up about Law Enforcement, and I have always been on the side of these people, UNLESS I see proof of their misdeeds.Then I will be one of the first to criticize and be very vocal about it. I only want to say, Be careful out there.And that goes for both LEOS, and the people who want test them. My final word to those who think that way is, please obey the law, respect that woman or man in uniform. They are just doing theirs job.
